How to enable anti-screenshot in SafeW
SafeW supports system-level anti-screenshot to block screen recording and captures. This guide covers how it works, how to enable it, and its limits.
Chat content being secretly screenshotted is one of the most common leak methods. SafeW's anti-screenshot feature blocks captures at the system level.
How it works
SafeW enables view protection (Flag Secure) at the system level. When on, the system blocks screenshots and screen recording of the SafeW interface — anyone trying to capture your chat only gets a black or blank screen.
How to enable it
In "Settings > Privacy", find "Anti-screenshot" or "View protection" and turn it on. After that, the SafeW chat screen can't be screenshotted or recorded.
Use cases
When discussing sensitive deals, handling client data, or talking business secrets, anti-screenshot prevents the other party or nearby people from capturing. Combined with burn-after-reading, protection is more complete.
Limits
Anti-screenshot doesn't stop someone photographing your screen with another device. It only blocks digital captures. Physical photos are still possible — important content still relies on a "don't share" agreement.
Pair with secret chat
Secret chat + anti-screenshot + burn-after-reading — three layers stacked — is the standard setup for highly sensitive communication.
Summary
Anti-screenshot is an effective anti-capture tool, but not a cure-all. Real safety comes from awareness plus layered protection.
