What is 2FA
Two-factor means logging in requires a dynamic code in addition to your password. Even if someone steals your password, without your phone or authenticator they can't get in.
How to enable 2FA
Open SafeW, go to "Settings > Account Security", find "Two-factor authentication" and enable it. Bind a phone number or an authenticator app, and login gains an extra code step.
Why use an authenticator app
An authenticator app (like Google Authenticator) is safer than SMS. Codes refresh every 30 seconds and don't depend on phone signal — useful when traveling abroad.
What if you lose your device
When enabling 2FA, the system usually gives you a set of "backup recovery codes". Write them down and store them somewhere safe (not on the phone). If you lose the phone, use the codes to recover.
Things to note
Recovery codes are your spare key — leaking them means giving away your account. Write them on paper, keep them at home, and never screenshot or store them in cloud.
