How to update SafeW to the latest version on every platform

Windows
Open SafeW and check for updates in "Settings > About". If a new version exists, click update. Or re-download the installer from the official download page and install over it.
macOS
Similar to Windows — check for updates in-app, or download the latest dmg and reinstall.
Android
App-store installs update automatically. APK installs need you to download the new APK and install over the old one.
iOS
Update in the App Store, or enable auto-update. iOS is the easiest.
Linux
Update via the package manager, or download the latest package and reinstall.
Before updating
Back up your chats first ("Settings > Data & Storage" for local backup), in case something goes wrong. Before a major upgrade, check the changelog for anything to watch.
