SafeW Mac full install guide: from download to allowing developer
Installing SafeW on Mac needs one extra step — allowing the developer. This guide covers download, dragging into Applications, allowing developer, and permissions.
Installing SafeW on Mac isn't hard, but the first launch can be blocked by "cannot verify developer". This guide covers the full flow and how to allow it.
Step 1: Download the dmg
Go to the download page, choose macOS, and download the .dmg. After downloading, check the file size looks normal.
Step 2: Drag into Applications
Double-click the dmg, and a window appears. Drag the SafeW icon into the "Applications" folder — that's the main install done.
Step 3: Allow "cannot verify developer"
On first launch, macOS may warn "cannot verify developer". Open "System Settings > Privacy & Security", and in the "Security" section click "Open Anyway", then confirm. From then on it opens normally.
Step 4: Grant permissions
After logging in, the system requests microphone, notifications and screen recording permissions. Voice calls need the microphone; receiving messages needs notifications. Allow as needed.
Step 5: Enable auto-start
To receive messages right after boot, enable start-on-boot and auto-login in Settings.
Summary
The key to Mac install is one step — allowing the developer. Remember the path "System Settings > Privacy & Security > Open Anyway", and nothing else should block you.
