SafeW beginner install guide: from download to first login

Step 1: Download the installer
Go to the official download page and pick your system (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS or Linux). After downloading, quickly verify the filename and size as described in our verification guide.
Step 2: Install
On Windows, double-click the installer and follow the wizard. On macOS, open the dmg and drag SafeW into Applications. On mobile, install the APK directly or get it from the app store.
Step 3: Sign up
Open SafeW and register with your phone number or email. Enter the verification code, then set a nickname and avatar. Important: use a valid phone or email — you'll need it to recover your account later.
Step 4: Grant permissions
On first login, the app asks for notification and storage permissions. Notifications let you receive messages in time; storage lets you send images and files. Allow both.
Step 5: Initial settings
Open "Settings" and adjust "message preview", "auto-login" and "startup" to your liking. If you prefer quiet, set up a do-not-disturb window too.
Done
At this point SafeW is ready to use. Add a contact, send a few messages, and confirm sending, receiving and notifications all work.
